Future Forms Compared
The main difference between the future with 'will', and the future with 'going to' is that the future with 'will' is used for decisions made at the moment of speaking. In other words, use 'will' to express your reaction to a situation.

The future with 'going to', on the other hand, is used to make a statement about something you have decided before the moment of speaking.
Tom is going to purchase a permeation tube manufacturing pack at the conference.
Michael Bolton isn't going to stay on after the final inspection.
Tom is going to present the results of our feasibility study to the board next week.
Scheduled Events in the Future
Use the present continuous to express scheduled or planned events in the near future.
Example:
The supplier isn't shipping new product this week.
When will you be touring the factory?
When is the technical consultant meeting with the team?
We're developing penalties for substandard and unsafe manufacturing techniques this year.
Positive Form:
Subject + to be + verb + -ing + (object(s))

Negative Form:
Subject + to be + not + verb+ ing + (object(s))
Harold isn't getting authorization for the equipment purchase on Tuesday.
Question Form:
(Question Word) + to be + subject + verb + ing?
